Greensboro Grasshoppers Logo PNG
While the Minor League Baseball team the Greensboro Grasshoppers is affiliated with the Miami Marlins, their logos don’t reflect this connection.
Meaning and history
The team started play in 1979 in Greensboro, North Carolina, where it’s been based ever since. The franchise, which now plays in the South Atlantic League at the Class-A level, has gone through around ten names before adopting the current name and logo in 2005.
Primary symbol
The grasshopper that is (of course!) featured on the Greensboro Grasshoppers logo looks more determined than an average representative of this species. He’s depicted as a baseball player with the name of the team above.
Cap emblem
The same grasshopper is placed inside the letter “G.”
Colors
In addition to green, orange, and ecru, the Greensboro Grasshoppers logo also features black.
