Originally known under the name of the Daytona Cubs, the franchise adopted its current name and logo in 2015, having become the Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds.

The Daytona Tortugas team, which was established in 1993, is located in Daytona Beach, Florida and belongs to the Florida State League.
2015 – Today
The centerpiece of the Daytona Tortugas logo is an anthropomorphized turtle called Shelldon. The turtle holding a baseball bat is depicted swimming below the name of the team, which is given in white, blue, and light brown.
Cap emblem
The cap insignia showcases the same turtle, which is now swimming through a large white “D.”
Colors
The logo dominated by light blue and two shades of green creates a distinctive ocean feel, which isn’t spoiled by the light brown and white nuances.
