WWE and Wale present new NXT logo

Lately, there has been much talk that WWE is going to reform its NXT brand. The show is expected to receive a new design for the Performance Center, recruiting system or even change its competition rules. The first clear sign of the upcoming changes was given by hip-hop artist Wale who shared a new NXT logo in his Twitter a couple of days ago.

NXT’s new emblem is a stunning reversal compared to the brand’s previous logo with a modest gold-and-black color palette. The design showcases a real burst of colors filling up an outlined NXT wordmark. The mix of all the colors of the rainbow seems to be created with casual strokes and splashes. In addition, the bold black bordering plays up the contrast with the colorful field.

Wale’s tweet includes an animated version of the logo that comes with a track. It’s not ruled out that the theme will be the next intro for NXT. The rapper himself is a long-time fan of WWE, and also performs the theme of Big E.

The future restructuring of NXT has also been confirmed by WWE President Nick Khan who said the show will feature 12 new wrestlers, offering a new system that will allow young talents to become wrestling superstars. And the brand’s new logotype probably gives us a hint what we should expect from the refreshed NXT.
