Lilly Logo

The Lilly logo shows the brand’s strong connection with its roots and heritage. The company’s founder was Colonel Eli Lilly, who served as the company president until he died in 1898. A stylized version of his signature still appears in the company’s logo. It is executed in bold red font on a white background, which reflects the brand’s values of its history and its dedication to its consumers.

The Lilly logo is very recognizable in the industry and looks great both as a masthead and as an icon, due to its contrasting colors and the name’s shortness.

Font and color

As already mentioned above, the lettering on the Lilly logo is a digital derivative from the signature of the company’s owner, Eli Lilli, although some lines and contours still can be found in commercial fonts today. The type, which is pretty similar to the one, used in the Lilly logo, but only in some of the shapes, is, probably, Palm Canyon Drive Heavy.

As for the color palette of the Lilly badge, it is based on just one shade of red, which is very calming and deep. Red here is the hue standing for heart, love, and caress, as this is what the company aims to give to its customers, helping them get over health conditions, and bringing them back to normal life.
