2006 – 2008
The logo, used by the Icon Aircraft company from 2006 to 2008, featured a solid blue horizontally oriented rectangular banner with bold white lettering written across it. The main part of the lettering, the “Icon” was set in the lowercase of a slanted modern sans-serif font, with the dot above the “I” drawn as a sharp flag-like element in bright blue. As for the “Aircraft”, it was set on the right, right after two blue dash lines, and executed in the uppercase of a simple sans-serif type, also in white.
2008 – 2015
The redesign of 2008 has introduced a completely different concept for the Icon Aircraft badge. This time the color palette, adopted by the designers, was composed of black, red, and white, a timelessly beautiful combo. The shape of the badge turned into a triangular crest, with a glossy gradient background and a thin grayish frame. The stylized bright red propeller was drawn in the center of the crest, while the laconic white “Icon” in a progressive sans-serif typeface, was written across the top part of the shield emblem.
2015 – Today
In 2015 the Icon Aircraft logo was simplified, yet kept its color palette, style, and recognizability. The red propeller got a bit smaller in size and was placed on the left from the solid black wordmark, written in the same sand-serif, as the inscription from the previous version. Both elements are set in one straight line across a transparent background, without any additional details.
