Being a luxury brand, Balenciaga always featured elegant and sophisticated logos with complicated intertwined elements of the emblem.
But after the label hired a new creative director in 2015, the style of the brand dramatically changed. Balenciaga’s fashion became more sharp and futuristic than ever. The label made a high-fashion out of a street-style, and the logo was also changed.
The Balenciaga logo is extremely minimalist. It is composed of a simple wordmark in a monochrome color palette. All capital letters of the nameplate are executed in a strict clean sans-serif typeface, which is similar to Utah Condensed Bold.
