Vercel is a service that helps developers build, deploy, and host their web applications without having to manage their infrastructure. Vercel is particularly popular with React and Next.js developers, although it also supports other frameworks and technologies.

Meaning and history

With the Vercel platform, developers host static websites that deploy instantly, and the QA team can test them in the same environment. Vercel requires no customization and works with any type of web infrastructure. Here you can get a preliminary URL that can be shared with your team for collaboration.

Also, you can use GitHub’s continuous integration actions with Vercel. When you connect Vercel to a GitHub repository, no additional settings are required to host and update your site on Vercel.

Vercel’s main advantages over its competitors are fast deployment; seamless integration with Next.js and other frameworks such as Gatsby, and Nuxt.js; Global Content Delivery Network (CDN); and free hosting. For small projects and personal websites, Vercel provides free hosting with some traffic and resource limitations.

What is Vercel?
Vercel is the name of a platform where developers can host their front-end projects. The platform is popular because it has many advantages, including fast deployment speed, easy customization, a wide range of deployment and monitoring tools, and automatic infrastructure scaling.

In terms of visual identity, Vercel is very modern and sharp, and it is not only about the geometric shapes in the composition but also about the distinction of the lines and strength of the color palette.

The title case lettering is set on the right from the emblem, which is a simple equilateral triangle portioning up, set against a plain white background with no additions.

Font and color

Vercel Emblem

The distinctive title case lettering from the primary Vercel logo is set in a clean and modern geometric sans-serif typeface, which has a lot in common with such commercial fonts as Morn and Singolar but with some visible modifications of the contours.

As for the color palette of the Vercel visual identity, it is monochromatic and features plain and flat black lines on a white background. In the case with the icon, the triangle becomes white and gets placed on a solid black roundel. Simple, strict, yet at the same time very strong and evokes a sense of excellence.
