Meaning and History

Its history can be traced back to the establishment of various institutions that merged to create the UCHealth system. It was not until 2012, that the University of Colorado Hospital (est. 1921) and other affiliated hospitals and clinics, including Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins (est. 1925) and Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs (est. 1906), came together to form the UCHealth system. Since its formation, UCHealth has grown substantially, extending its services beyond the Denver metropolitan area to many regions of Colorado.

The name is printed using a simple sans-serif font and all lowercase letters, which creates a feeling of an approachable and caring company. The logo features a stylish, sans-serif font that resembles Avenir Next Variable Pro Roman font by Linotype. It not only looks professional and friendly but is also easy to read.

The logo uses a crimson red. The color is often associated with power and strength. However, it seems that the establishment wanted it to be linked to love and care for the patients as well as passion to bring innovation to the medical sphere.
