Team Empire is the name of a Russian gaming association, which was established in 2004. One of the oldest and most famous cybersport organizations has a rich history of participation in international championships in Dota 2, Rainbow Six Siege, League of Legends, and others.
Meaning and history
Team Empire is a cybersports organization founded in 2004. During its existence, TE has become a global cybersport brand and the leader of the CIS scene. The track record of the teams playing under the Empire tag includes many titles in various tournaments in the most popular computer sports disciplines.
The main goal of the organization has always been and will be the development and popularization of computer sports in Russia and CIS. The association is trying to create and support professional teams consisting of talented and promising players, as well as to represent Russia on the international competitive level.
Today Team Empire consists of the best five players and teams of their own country, world champions, and winners of different computer sport disciplines.
Team Empire has always tried to stay independent and to develop and grow from its resources, without attracting additional funds from outside. And this made it different from other cybersport organizations. Although after the pandemic of 2019, the situation in the world has changed, and the association had to start working with sponsors, which today are Seagate, Lotto, Intel, and Warp Gaming.

As for the visual identity, the Russian gaming organization has been loyal to the badge, which was designed for it in 2004. It is a bright logo with some traditional heraldic elements, and graphical details, showing the brand’s affiliation to computer games.
2004 — Today
The Team Empire logo is a bold beige and red crest with black details and outlined and a white logotype on it. The badge with the white inscription in a black outline is set over the bottom part of the crest, being slightly arched and underlined with a white line, in the same thickness as the bars of the letters.
Above the inscription, there is an image of a knight on a horse, drawn in a beige and red color palette, with thick black outlines and shadows. The knight has a rounded shield in one hand and a sword in the other.
Between the main wordmark and the image of a knight in a horse, there is a thin red waving ribbon with an uppercase sans-serif “Team” written in the middle in white. The typeface features elongated horizontal bars with sharp diagonally cut ends of the lines.
