In 1998-2003, an even more cluttered emblem was used featuring a mythic ocean inhabitant.
2004 – 2010
Before this logo, the school used a more cluttered one where the full name of the teams was given (2004-2010).
2011 – Today
The current Pepperdine Waves logo features a large “P” in navy blue with orange trim. The soft curve of the “P” and the blue color conjure up the ocean waves, while the orange trim was probably inspired by the bright sun of California.
