PCWorlds is a computer magazine. It was founded in 1983 by David Bunnell and Cheryl Woodard, and its first editor was Andrew Fluegelman. Since 2013, it has been published only online.
Meaning and history
PC World is published under other names such as PC Advisor and PC Welt in some countries, but they all share one logo design.
The brand uses classic color combination and font for its logo. The PCWorld masthead is simple and modest. It is a deep-red colored wordmark in classic sans serif on a white background.
The now digital brand also has a bright and recognizable icon to use in mobile apps and social media – a red square with three white letters “PCW”.
