The original NameCheap logo, designed in 2000, was set in quite a simple style yet used bright colors to attract attention. It was a white lowercase lettering written in a rounded sans-serif terrace and contoured in red, set across a horizontally oriented rectangular banner with a solid yellow background decorated by two white swoosh lines in the left part.
2003 – 2011
The redesign of 2003 has created something new for the famous domain registrar. This time the badge was based on a narrower lowercase lettering written in clean black lines across a transparent background and decorated by a small geometric emblem, attached to the first letter — the calm-green trapezoid tag with a bold white lowercase “N” on it.
2011 – 2014
In 2011 the NameCheap logo was significantly refined: the lettering was rewritten in the title case of a bolder sand-serif font with traditional contours of the characters and softened ends of the bars; the emblem was redrawn in a three-dimensional way, with the green trapezoid gaining smooth yellow edges. Another important thing about the new badge was the bright blue “Address your life!” Tagline, set in an italicized rounded typeface.
2014 – Today
In terms of visual identity, NameCheap is a very consistent company, with its logo hasn’t been changed for years. The badge of the registrar is composed of a graphical part, followed by a lightweight lowercase logotype in a clean full-shaped sans-serif typeface with rounded ends of the lines. The emblem of NameCheap service is a stylized capital “N” drawn with a thick orange folded ribbon, horizontally and tended and slanted to the right. Font and color
The delicate lowercase logotype from the primary NameCheap badge is set in a clean modern sans-serif typeface, which is pretty close to such fonts as Museo Sans Rounded 300, Giant Gothic Sans Regular, and Kentledge Light, but with the ends of the lines softened.
