Kronenbourg Brewery is a brewery founded in 1664 by Geronimus Hatt in Straßburg. The name comes from the area where the brewery relocated in 1850. Kronenbourg 1664 is the most sold French beer in the world and the market leader for high-end premium beers. It was named after the year the Hatt family first started commercial brewing. Kronenbourg is the fifth oldest beer brand in the world that still exists today. It is now produced by Heineken in the UK.

The old logo is very similar to the following one, with some differences. This one has no 3D effects, the ‘Kronenbourg’ word is still in place, and all the silver-grey elements in & around the oval are blue or golden.
