Jeep Wrangler is a four-wheel drive Class B SUV, which was first introduced by the Chrysler Corporation at the end of the 1980s. The Jeep Wrangler is the direct successor and worthy descendant of the first classic Jeep SUV.
Meaning and history
Jeep Wrangler’s history dates back to 1987 when the first generation of this SUV was presented. In turn, the first Jeep Wrangler was not a completely independent development – it borrowed many solutions from its predecessor – Jeep CJ. In 1996, the public was presented with the second generation of Jeep Wrangler, which production was carried out until 2006.
The premiere of the third generation of the all-wheel drive took place at the Detroit Auto Show in 2006. he appearance of a hybrid modification of the Jeep Wrangler, but after the beginning of the financial crisis and the acquisition of Chrysler by Fiat, it was decided to postpone these plans for the future.
In 2009 at the annual exhibition of the American Army Association an equipped military version of the Jeep Wrangler – J8 was shown. It differed by protective painting and mounted set of arms. At the moment, military J8s are used by armies and special services of the U.S., Canada, Egypt, Israel, Italy, Guatemala, and other countries.

The tagline is usually set in black, but on some models can be seen in blue, complemented by a dark silver “Jeep” logotype.
Font and color
The heavy uppercase “Wrangler” lettering from the book’s primary Jeep Wrangler logo is set in a modern designer typeface with some sharp geometric elements in the stable extra-thick characters. The closest fonts to the one, used in this insignia, are, probably, Vast XXXL Black, or Briller Ultra, with some significant modifications of the characters’ contours.
