Full Send is the brand, which grew up from a simple slang, used by the YouTube channel NELK. Today it is not only the explanation of a partying way of life but also a label of street-style clothing and accessories for both men and women.
Meaning and history
NELK, also known as NELK Boys, was formerly known as NelkFilmz. It is a Canadian YouTube channel and entertainment company known for its video pranks and vlogs. The channel also features videos of the boys’ lifestyle and behind-the-scenes, as well as their occasional parties. The NELK team consists of founding members Kyle Forgard, Jesse Sebastiani, Steve DeLeonardis, and Salim Sirir. In addition, the group also has other members, Cousin Jay, Pat Sebastiani (Jesse’s father), and staff members.
NELK uses the term “Full Send” to refer to them, as well as in their merchandise. For the YouTubers, it means living in constant partying and a lot of alcohol. Hence, there is no surprise that almost all of their videos are age-restricted and demonetized because of the nature of YouTube content.
The Canadian YouTube Channel was created on July 6, 2010, and as of 2020, it already had 6.1 million subscribers and more than 849 million views. The group uses the term “Full Send,” referring to partying and living without thinking about the consequences, as seen in their videos. They also constantly repeat this phrase throughout the band’s videos. And in 2018 the team decided to create a separate brand with the name Full Send, under which they produce quite simple yet stylish clothing with bold inscriptions and funny images on them.
What is Full Send?
Full Send is the name of a brand, owned by popular YouTubers, known as NELK Boys. The term was initially slang, used by the guys to describe their way of life, full of parties and drinking. Full Send became a separate brand in 2018.
In terms of visual identity, Full Send is a brand with a very simple logo, composed of lettering, executed in a contrasting color palette, with no graphical additions. Despite its minimalistic style, the badge still looks very energetic and powerful, representing the character of the founders and the philosophy of the brand.
2018 – Today
The Full Send logo depicts bold uppercase lettering, written in a geometric italicized style against a plain black horizontally-oriented banner. The primary version of the badge features a black-and-white color palette, while for the secondary version the heavy and dynamic inscription turns red, with the background staying solid black.
Font and color
The bold uppercase lettering from the Full Send logo is set in a modern geometric typeface with italicized characters. The closest fonts to the one, used in this insignia, are, probably, Impact WGL Italic, Zuume Extra Bold Italic, or Fixture Italic Condensed Black.
As for the color palette of the Full Send visual identity, it is composed of three main shades — black, white, and red, which create three various duos, but each of them looks strong, dynamic, and even dramatic (in the case with the red and black combination).
