An American company called Cuisinart was formed in the 1970s. Since 1989, the company has been a part of Conair Corporation. At the initial stage of activity, Cuisinart products were popular only in North America, but since 2003 the brand has become known in the European market. This was facilitated by the fact that Cuisinart’s representative in Europe was Paul Bocuse, one of the most famous chefs in the world.

Meaning and history

A brand with more than 40 years of experience, Cuisinart is committed to innovation and exceptional quality in the development of its products. The company manufactures and sells a wide range of products: iconic food processors, coffee makers, grills, toasters, waffle makers, blenders, hand mixers, cookware, cutlery, and more.

The first food processor under the Cuisinart brand appeared in America in 1973 thanks to the efforts of American engineer and inventor Carl Sontheimer, who had a passion not only for kitchen appliances but also for the fine cuisine of France. The idea came to the inventor during the holidays he spent in France with his wife. And in the very beginning, the couple was simply importing the French food processors to the USA. But they were too big for the standard kitchens, so Carl decided to create his own model. And succeeded.

In 2003, the headquarters of the European division of Cuisinart moved to France, and the famous French chef Paul Bocuse, the owner of three Michelin stars, became the face of the brand and its inspirer.

Today, Cuisinart kitchen appliances are a true benchmark of quality that has been proven over time. Their food processors, juicers, steamers, toasters – they satisfy even the most demanding customer.

Cuisinart Logo

The Cuisinart logo is based solely on the lettering, written in flat black lines against a transparent background. The title case inscription is executed in an extra-bold sans-serif typeface with full-shaped characters, straight cuts of the bars, and sharp flattened rectangles above both “I”s. The laconic badge evokes a sense of stability and trustworthiness, emphasizing the professionalism of the brand and such qualities as excellence and attention to detail.

Font and color

Cuisinart Emblem

The heavy lettering from the primary logo of the Cuisinart brand is set in a modern geometric sans-serif typeface; which looks very similar to such commercial fonts as Meutas, Hype Vol 3, or VVDS Fifties, but with the modified shapes of the “I” dots.

As for the color palette of the Cuisinart visual identity, everything is very simple here: black on white. This timeless combination stands for professionals, quality, and fundamental approach.
