Beyond Meat is the world’s largest producer of plant-based meat substitutes. The company offers minced meat, sausages, and patties. The familiar flavors attract people who are used to eating red meat, but for some reason want to change their diet. Its plant-based meat is made from pea protein, rice, beets, water and oil and is 100% vegan. In terms of texture, smell, taste, and color, it is almost impossible to distinguish from regular meat. It is not surprising as a large team of 40 people, including chefs and scientists (specialists in the field of molecular biology and plant physiology) worked on the creation of the vegan meat substitute.
