Meaning and history
2002 – 2010
Since 2002, the Texas A&M-CC Islanders logo has been modified once. In fact, it was more of an overhaul than just a modification. The old logo featured a stylized wave with the large word “Islanders” above it. On top of the logo, there was the lettering “Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi.”
2011 – Today
In 2011, the current logo was introduced. It is dominated by a large blue “I” housing a stylized wave. The word “Islanders” is arched above it.
