St Bonaventure Bonnies are the name of the collegiate sports program of the St Bonaventure a university, which consists of men’s and women’s teams in Baseball, Basketball, Rugby, Soccer, and many more sport disciplines. The program is a member of the NCAA Division I.
1992 – 1999
After the athletic program was officially renamed the Bonnies, its logo was updated. It still featured the large “B” but the glyphs looked different now, and there was the word “Bonnies” below.
1999 – 2012
In 1999, the St. Bonaventure Bonnies logo was redrawn from scratch. It now featured Bona Wolf, which was chosen due to the wolf’s connection to Franciscan tradition.
2012 – 2016
The color palette changed in 2012, making some elements of the logo marginally darker.
2016 – Today
By 2016, the coloring switched to various shades of brown, grey and white, but nothing else changed.
