John Charles Galliano is one of the most influential British fashion designers. He used to be the head designer of Givenchy, Christian Dior, and his own label John Galliano (1988-2011), while currently, he works for Maison Margiela.
Meaning and history
While the John Galliano logo is a typographic one, it is also highly spectacular. Most of the letters have a unique twist. For instance, the “N” has its bottom right end cut. The “G” has a very unusual “tail.” The right ends on the “L’s” and the top of the “A” also have a spectacular trim.
By contrast, the word “Paris” that can be seen below features a totally different style. Here, you can seem minimalist sans serf glyphs.
