2017 – Today

The logo has barely changed since its introduction in 2012. The main change was the removal of the black and silver gradient. A clean black-and-white inscription looks more modern and solid. It creates a strong, impactful statement and appeals to the younger generation, the main consumer group of energy drinks. The brand name is accompanied by an “Energy Formula” tagline printed in smaller, sans-serif, italicized font in black. It complements the bold look of the main part of the logo.

Font and Color

This font features bold, thick strokes with a strong presence.  The uppercase letters maintain a consistent weight, contributing to a cohesive look.  The font used for the name looks similar to Nakamura by Akihiro Oya. The tagline, which was introduced slightly later, uses a different sans-serif, italicized font that looks like Helvetica Neue 107 Cond ExtraBlack Oblique font.

The original color palette consisted of metallic black and light gray. The gradient gave the logo a sleek and innovative look with a futuristic vibe. The new black-and-white color palette contributes to a modern and powerful image. It seems to be more suitable for a strong energy drink brand that wants to convey a sense of long-lasting quality.
