The red door is probably the most important symbol in the history of the brand. To begin with, the company was founded under the name “Red Door.” Arden’s signature perfume is called “Red Door.” The same name is used by their day spas.
The wordmark features the lettering “Elizabeth Arden” in red, to correspond to the color of the door. The type is a classic serif one. The retro touch seems to represent the long history of the company, which started over 100 years ago.
The words “New York” below are smaller. Their legibility is enhanced by the black color and simple sans.
