Established in 1954, Clarins Group is a French company specializing in premium skincare products, cosmetics, and fragrances. There are obviously many makeup solutions, but these products are also about health. There are plenty of masks, balms and ointments designed to make your skin healthier.

Meaning and History

The first Clarins shop was established in 1954 by one Jacques Courtin-Clarins, a French specialist. Not only did he start making skincare solutions, but he also focused on the natural side of his products. They were (and still) all made from natural ingredients – most of which friendly to environment.

Clarins Logo

The initial logotype by Clarins depicts the inscription ‘Clarins Paris’ with two strokes of red depicted as arches below and above. Both words are written in a red serif typeface with capitalized letters. The word ‘Clarins’ is larger, while the part ‘Paris’ only occupied a small strip beneath the former word’s center.
