The logo, designed for Biman Bangladesh Airlines in 1972, is still used by the air carrier today. Based on a green and red color palette, it is composed of a solid red roundel with a white geometric plane image on it, and a two-leveled lettering in intense green, with the top line enlarged and emboldened. The “Biman” part is set in the title case, while the “Bangladesh Airlines” is capitalized.
2010 – 2011
In 2010 the air carrier introduced a new logo, which was only used for several months. It was the same red and green color palette, but green with gradients was prevailing. The lowercase “Bangladesh” was accompanied by a green image of an elegant bird above it and a red tagline in Bengali, with the full name of the company.
