1955 – 2011

The company, known today as West Atlantic, was established in the middle of the 20th century under the name West Air Sweden. Its original logo, designed in the 1950s, featured elegant serif lettering with slanted capital characters, written in dark blue color, and accompanied by a stylized abstract emblem in the color palette of the Swedish flag, blue and yellow.

2011 – now

West Atlantic Logo

In 2011 the air carrier got a new name and a new logo. The “West Atlantic” inscription was rewritten in a more modern font with elegant contours of the bold characters, while the emblem got moved to the left, and set in a refined blue, yellow, and red palette. The new graphical element is composed of three overlapping stylized ticks, with rounded peaks and sharpened ends.
