Seagate is an American brand of supplements and vitamins, which was founded in 1981. Known worldwide for using only natural ingredients, the brand produces such goods as flu medications, topical creams and gels, and homeware items (mainly cleaners).
Meaning and history
The visual identity of the American brand is simple yet very memorable and pro-gressive. The logo is composed of a bold wordmark and a geometric emblem above it. Executed in two possible color palettes — monochrome or blue and white — the logo looks solid and confident.
The Seagate wordmark in all capitals of an elegant bold serif typeface, which is very similar to Majesty Black and Friz Quadrata SB Bold, with their curves and sharp serifs.
The smooth and sophisticated lettering is complemented by a straight graphical emblem, which consists of four arrows, pointing up-right. The arrows, each of them composed of two triangles — a bigger one for the arrowhead and a smaller one under it —are enclosed in an invisible square.
The Seagate emblem is a symbol of progressive thinking and energy of the brand, along with its willingness to provide their customers with only the highest quality products.
