Originally meant to be a golf field named “Pizza Hutt”, the fictional eating and entertainment establishment first appeared in “Toy Story” film released in 1995. The character Woody claims that the delivery truck of the restaurant is a spaceship, so Buzz would get on it and they can search for Andy. After Toy Story’s first movie, the Pizza Planet truck appeared in a number of Pixar movies (fans have even created a list with timestamps). In 2018, Disneyland announced that it would open a real-life Pizza Planet restaurant. These facts show how far the Pixar has come.

The letters “P” are especially designed to go with the ring turning around an imaginary planet. In the upper left corner, the logo has a planet that looks like a pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms and a ring that spins around this planet. The overall design is both playful and creative. It is interesting that in 2018, Redd Rockett’s Pizza Port eatery changed its name to Alien Pizza Planet and began to use this emblem in real life.
Font and Color
