???? – 2005
The older version of the Pel-Air visual identity was designed in a modest and minimalistic black-and-white color palette, with the contoured image of the Australian continent placed on the background. The horizontal ribbon with the lettering cut the composition and had a large and detailed image of a flying plane drawn on its right side.
2005 – Today
The redesign of 2005 has created a more minimalistic emblem for the Australian air carrier. The name of the company is now set in the uppercase of a sleek and distinctive sans-serif typeface with softened corners of the characters, and painted in dark blue. The inscription is accompanied by a small silhouette of a plane, set in the right part flying up. The two long wavy lines in blue and bright green are making the traces of the plane, coming through the whole banner.
