Meaning and history
Taking into consideration the name of the program, it seems only natural that the Houston Baptist Huskies logo features a husky type dog. It is given in blue and white between the words “HBU” and “Huskies.”
Houston Baptist Huskies basketball
The men’s team made it to the 1984 NCAA Tournament and to the 2016 College Basketball Invitational. They also played in the 2017 CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament.
Houston Baptist Huskies baseball
In 2015, the Huskies played in the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. They also participated in the 2007 NAIA World Series. In addition to the primary Houston Baptist Huskies logo, the team also uses a typographic insignia.
