The airline was known for its focus on leisure travel and providing quality service to its passengers.
However, Germania faced financial challenges and filed for insolvency in February 2019. Despite efforts to secure financial assistance, the airline ceased operations in February 2019, leading to the cancellation of flights and affecting thousands of passengers. The company’s assets were later sold in an effort to repay its debts.
Germania remains out of operation, and there haven’t been any significant developments regarding its revival. It is important to note that circumstances may have changed since then, and it’s advisable to consult up-to-date sources for the latest information on Germania’s current status.

1978 – 2010
The original logo of Germania Airlines, introduced at the end of the 1970s, stayed in use by the company for more than thirty years. It was a bright grass-green composition with the geometric emblem set on the left from the bold title case lettering. The emblem featured a circular shape and was drawn in two shades of green. The whole composition had a narrow rectangular underline.
2010 – 2019
The redesign of 2010 has darkened the green color palette of the Germania logo and softened the contours of all elements of the badge. The underline was removed, and the emblem gained some flood and volume. As for the inscription, it was also changed to a softer and more elegant one.
