Meaning and history

What is Ciceksepeti?
Ciceksepeti is a Turkish online retailer of flowers, gourmet foods, and gifts, which was established in 2006 by Emre Aydin. Today the company is the largest in Turkey in its segment and even has a subsidiary, called LolaFlora.
As for the visual identity, the company decided to not go far from its name (Çiçek Sepeti literally translates into English as the “Flower Basket”), and the main specialization, so the modest and simple graphical on the logo are all about flowers.
2006 – Today
The Çiçek Sepeti logo, designed at the very beginning of the company’s history, is composed of two parts, which are sometimes accompanied by a lightweight handwritten tagline.
The main part of the online retailer’s logo is its emblem: a laconic stylized flower with four drop-like petals in orange, red, green, and blue. The colors of the petals are intense, but pretty calm, with no acid shades. The logotype, which is usually set on the right from the emblem, or under it, is executed in deep blue color, written in the title case of a fancy and elegant custom typeface with slightly curved and rounded ends of the bars.
