Meaning and history
The visual identity of the American aviation company is bright and friendly, based on a cartoonish character, its logo still looks strong and confident.
The Airwolf logo is composed of a circular badge, where the colorful central part is enclosed in a thick black frame with a yellow outline.
In the middle of the badge, there is a sky-blue circle with an image of the wolf, wearing a pilot suit. The wolf is drawn in gray and brown and has a bright red scarf and pink glasses. It is a very memorable and funny picture, which makes the whole logo recognizable and evokes a smile.
The seriousness and professionalism of the company are reflected in the black frame around the cartoonish Wolf. Outlined from both inside and outside parts, it looks strict yet points on the energy and progress due to its black and yellow color palette.
The wordmark in yellow is located around the frame’s perimeter, with the “Airwolf” part enlarged and arched on the top of the frame, and “Aerospace” in smaller letters located along the bottom part.
Both parts of the wordmark are executed in a bold modern sans-serif typeface with thick lines and distinct edges of the letters, which look contemporary and stylish.
