Old Logo
The old logo of the air carrier from Venezuela was executed in an intense navy-blue, yellow, white, and red color palette, with the slanted three-leveled lettering written on an oval medallion. The first letters of each level were emboldened and enlarged, making up the “LAV” abbreviation. The logo was accompanied by a classy heraldic emblem in red and white, with stylized wings and the red abbreviation in the center.
1950’s
In the 1950s the company was using a different logo, drawn in a yellow and brown color palette. It was a very detailed image of a retro airplane, drawn in gradient brown strokes against a solid yellow medallion. The name of the company was written in custom cursive, again in three lines, and again with the first characters different from all other letters.
1997 – Today
The redesign of 1997 introduced a modern and strong logo of the Aeropostal Alas de Venezuela air carrier. The badge is composed of an enlarged uppercase blue “Aeropostal” wordmark, written in a slightly slanted geometric sans-serif typeface, and a laconic yet bright emblem in yellow and black, depicting a stylized bird, flying to the right above the inscription.
