Southwestern Athletic Conference Logo PNG
The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) boasts a rather long history, which started in 1920. Headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, the collegiate athletic conference comprises institutions coming from the Southern United States.
Meaning and history
A stylized star is the centerpiece of the Southwestern Athletic Conference logo. A grey streak divides the star into two parts: the red top and the black bottom. To the right, the name of the conference can be seen. It features an artistic type with unusual sharp serifs and diagonal ends of the letters.
While the previous logo, which was adopted in 2000, had the same structure, the type was completely different.
