The logo looks daring and bold. At the same time, it features an elegant, modern sans typeface. Meanwhile, thick strokes provide a strong and impactful look. The full name is printed across the bottom and adjusted to the right. The majority of the logo is taken up by the abbreviated name – P5. The number 5 is placed in such a way that it wraps around the “P”, creating a unique and memorable emblem.
2019
The original logo was taken as the basis for the enhanced version. Its color palette got inverted and a black outline with a shadow ensured that each element is clearly visible on any background. The most noticeable addition is the letter “R”. The metallic golden “R” is meant to not only stand for the word “Royal” but also represent the enriched experience players can expect, making it a more complete version of the original game. The word “Royal” is added under the full name using the same font, only larger characters. The overall design is striking and dynamic thanks to the italicized inscriptions.
Font and Color
The logo for the first release of the game uses a bold, wide, and italicized font with a dynamic presence. It resembles a Futura Std Bold font or Metronic Pro Wide Extenso Heavy font with the “S” looking more like the character in PPTelegraf UltraboldOblique font. The expanded version uses Metronic Pro Wide Extenso Heavy or similar font.
The original color palette features a solid black color that looks strong and daring with a sleek, modern edge. The metallic golden color in the next release reflects the game’s enhanced content and features that distinguish it from the original “Persona 5.”
