1992 – Today
Merlion is the official mascot of Singapore, a mythical creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish. The reflection of the company’s name meaning can be seen on the Merlion logo.
It is a very simple yet modern and stylish logo. The bold black typeface of the wordmark with all the lowercase letters and a graphic letter “E” in red.
The letter “E” is drawn as three waves, reflecting the water element of the brand’s name. The Merlion logo has one more red element — the line below the wordmark, which separates it from the tagline “Home Systems” in all uppercase.
The Merlion logo looks nice and eye-catching due to a good color contrast and its minimalism.
