Meaning and history

1995

The first Creative logo reflects the original name. The centerpiece of the design is a large neon blue “C.” The glyph is in fact made up out of two “C’s” placed one inside the other and separated with a thin gap.

Below, there is the lettering “Creative Creatures Inc.” in white. The wordmark features a classic serif type. The background is black.

2000 – 2014, 2017 – present

The current version is by far more playful, friendly, and vivid than is predecessor.

To begin with, the design forces behind the brand removed the black background, which was already enough to make the logo lighter and more cheerful. Also, they added bright shades of red and green, which resulted in an even brighter emblem. In these circumstances, it did not matter that the shade of blue grew somewhat darker as it could not change the overall playful spirit.

The Creative Programs logo features the letters “C,” “P,” and “I.” All of them are based on a circle, even the “I” (to resolve this problem, the author of the logo had to place the “I” over a circle adding the microphone or antenna theme).

2014 – 2017

Over this period, the emblem featured the lettering “ABS-CBN Cable Channels.” The hyphen was replaced by a circle containing a microphone or antenna, which created a link with the logo used earlier and later.
