While the primary emblem of the State University of New York Athletic Conference has preserved its overall structure during the last twenty years, there has been a couple of minor modifications.
Meaning and history
On the current State University of New York Athletic Conference logo, you can see the lettering “SUNYAC” (the initials of the name of the conference). Both the body of the letters and the background are dark blue, while the outline of the glyphs is yellow. The wordmark is placed inside a dark blue ellipse, which also has a yellow outline.
In addition to the abbreviation, the old logo also featured the lettering “State University of New York Athletic Conference” in smaller glyphs.
