The holiday mood was the emotional dominant of the Miami Beach Bowl logo. And yet, the author of the logo managed to incorporate the football theme in the logo in such a way that the two motifs merged seamlessly.
The brightest accent of the design was the orange basketball. Due to the proximity of the two palm trees, it also could be interpreted as a coconut. The trunks of the palms joined together to form a shape that was reminiscent of a football stadium, while the lines in the background looked like the gates.
Meaning and history
The Miami Beach Bowl was played from 2014 through 2016 at Marlins Park in Miami, Florida. It was an NCAA-sanctioned Division I Football Bowl Subdivision college bowl game.
