What is Anytime Fitness?
Anytime Fitness is the name of a fitness studio chain, which was established in the United States, and today operates all over the globe, with its gyms in more than 50 countries worldwide. The clubs of the chain are opened every day of the year.
2002 – 2021
The Anytime Fitness visual identity is modern and dynamic. It is composed of a stylish wordmark with an emblem on its left, which is also used on its own when needed.
The bold custom wordmark in all capital letters is executed in a smooth sans-serif typeface, which is similar to the Laserian font, designed by the Iconian agency.
The “Anytime” part features bigger lettering, pointing on the main advantage of the fitness club. Two white parallel stripes, crossing the wordmark, reflect the speed and movement, adding strength and meaning to the logo.
The purple emblem depicts a running person silhouette which also resembles a swirl. It is abstract and contemporary, looking cool and powerful in the bright color.
The Anytime Fitness logo is eye-catching and remarkable. Using a minimalist color palette, it looks strong and stylish. The lettering of the wordmark adds a sense of progress and innovation, as well as a creative approach to everything the brand does.
2021 – Today
The redesign of 2021 has emboldened and modernized the well-known Anytime Fitness badge, cleaning the contours, strengthening the color palette, and removing the thin white horizontal lines, which were cutting the badge. Even though now the two-leveled inscription in a progressive sans-serif font, and a minimalistic purple emblem, are set in flat solid lines, the sense of motion and speed was not lost.
Font and color
The dynamic uppercase lettering from the primary Anytime Fitness badge is set in a custom futuristic sans-serif typeface with the letters in both levels horizontally cut by a white line. The closest font to the one, used in this insignia is, probably, Space Std Bold, or Conthrax Bold.
As for the color palette of the Anytime a fitness visual identity, it is based on a smooth shade of purple for the emblem, and solid black for the lettering. The color scheme looks very elegant and chic, with the Modern typeface making it progressive and cool.
