The American Southwest Conference (ASC) was established in 1996. It consists of schools participating in the tournaments of the NCAA’s Division III. The member institutions come from Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
Meaning and history
The American Southwest Conference logo is dominated by the lettering “ASC,” which is the abbreviated name of the conference. The letters are given in white with grayish highlights creating a 3D effect. Also, there is red and blue trim, which creates some contrast and makes the glyphs stand out against the white background.
On the background, there is a white roundel encircled by the full name of the conference on the blue background.
