The Russell Athletic Bowl existed under this name from 2012 to 2016. It was played in Orlando, Florida, at Camping World Stadium and operated by Florida Citrus Sports. The current name is the Camping World Bowl.
Meaning and history
The Russell Athletic Bowl logo was pretty cluttered, and due to this, it worked much better at larger sizes. At the center, there was the lettering “Russell Athletic” in dark blue over the white background The words “Bowl” and “Orlando” in white and yellow respectively could be seen below, over the dark blue field. Below, a single palm tree could be seen, which divided the field into two parts (orange and cool green). At the top of the shield, a football could be seen.
