The New Hampshire Fisher Cats baseball team started its history in 1993 as the New Haven Ravens. Today, they compete in the Eastern League as the Double-A farm team the Toronto Blue Jays club from Major League Baseball. Throughout their history, the Fisher Cats have won the League Championship four times, with the most recent win (as of 2024) in 2018.
The franchise, known today as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats was established in 1994 in Connecticut as the New Haven Ravens, entering the Eastern League as the farm club of Colorado Rockies in the same year. However, during this affiliation, the team didn’t achieve any high results. The first large win of the Ravens happened only in 2000 when they won the League Championship being the minor affiliates of the Seattle Mariners.
The next two seasons the Ravens played in the league under the wing of St. Louis Cardinals, but this collaboration didn’t have any successful moments. In 2003 the team got a new MLB affiliate — the Toronto Blue Jays club, and a year after the Ravens relocated to New Hampshire and changed their name to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. This switch was instantly followed by another League title. Two more large wins of the Fisher Cats happened only in the 2010s — 2011 and 2018.
In terms of visual identity, New Hampshire Fisher Cats are super sharp and strong. The logo of the club features memorable cartoonish elements with an aggressive mood, making up a great depiction of the players’ fighting spirit and willingness to win.
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats logo was redesigned in 2011. The only charge that was made — the color palette of the badge. All elements remained untouched, the cat’s head above the inscription in the same typeface as on the logo from 2008, and a long curved tail of the animal as the underline of the wordmark. The color palette now features three main shades — dark blue, light gray, and intense red for outlines. The lettering and some accents of the image are set in white. The badge looks fresh and cool.
Navy blue, red, grey, and white are all incorporated into the New Hampshire Fisher Cats logo.
