The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference logo stands out among other athletic emblems. Even more, it actually does not look like an athletic emblem at all. The typeface is rather calm and peaceful. The elegant rounded shape of the glyphs does not give any hint as to what type of organization the logo belongs to. Also, the emblem appears rather cluttered.
