Bowling is a game sport where a heavy ball is used to knock down pins standing on the other side of the lane. For a long time, it has been considered a pastime, as the simple rules make it accessible to everyone. It is hard to find a person who has never once in his life not competed in knocking out pins with a ball. However, on the other hand, everything is not so simple – professional bowling requires thorough preparation and regular training.

The game is very popular in the United States, which leads the world in the number of lanes per capita, followed by the British Commonwealth, Scandinavia, and Japan. In total, there were about 10 million regular bowlers in 120 countries as of 2007. Players unite in clubs, clubs — in various associations, which, in turn, organize national and international tournaments.

The largest and most authoritative association is the International Bowling Federation, which unites federations of 134 countries. The Federation is recognized as the official regulator and sets the rules and equipment standards for 10- and 9-pin bowling around the world.

At the moment, as in any other sport, bowling has official tournaments and there are large organizations to support this sport. It is about bowling associations and organizations that we wanted to talk about today. More precisely, from the late nineteenth century. Below you will find a list of the most prominent emblems from the sport.
