The Diablos Rojos del Mexico is a baseball franchise that is part of the Mexican League and belongs to the Triple-A level. Established in 1940 under the name Rojos del Mexico, the club has managed to win 21 Division championships and 17 League championships throughout the years, which shows it is a very strong competitor.

Meaning and history

The history of the franchise dates back to 1940 when the team was founded by Ernesto Carmona and Salvador Lutteroth under the name of the Reds of Mexico. However, in the first seasons, the team did not have any successful results. The first Division title was won by the Rojos only in 1956. But this win has opened a long way of amazing games and wins for the club.

Throughout its long career in the Mexican league, the Diablos Rojos Del Mexico has been showing itself as a super strong and determined team, winning 17 Serie Del Rey Championships and getting more than twenty Division titles. Today the team is one of the most famous representatives of baseball in its country. It plays its home games at the Estado Alfredo Harp Helu stadium with a capacity of more than 20 thousand seats.

2000 – Today

The México Diablos Rojos logo introduced in 2000 featured a white baseball with red seams. The baseball was encircled by a bold yellow ring with the full name of the team in white. The outline of the circle was red. Also, there was the word “Diablos” at the forefront.

The “Diablos” script from the logo is often used as the primary logo.

Cap emblem

The simpler version of the Diablos Rojos del Mexico logo features a script letter “M” with its right end forming a “devil’s” tail.
