The primary sources of inspiration behind the logo of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference were the National symbols of the United States, namely the American Flag.

The palette combining a dark and saturated shade of blue with red and white is an obvious allusion to the Flag, while the five-pointed stars only reinforce the link.

The National Collegiate Hockey Conference logo features a shield shade. The initials of the name of the conference are written across a red field at the top, while the stars can be seen below.

Meaning and history

The NCHC was established in the summer of 2009 but the games started in 2013. It is an NCAA men’s Division I hockey conference.
