What is Naturella?
Naturella is a brand of the Procter & Gamble family, which offers a range of hygiene products for women, such as pads and tampons. The brand is known for the use of chamomile in all of its products.
As for the visual identity, the Naturella logo design is based entirely on the brand philosophy and its main component — chamomile. The brand has stayed loyal to the original version of the badge, only slightly refining the contours of the letters and emblem throughout the years.
The flower in the Naturella logo has been inspired by the core message of the product – that the pads “bring your skin the touch of a flower.” According to the company, the pads have a “flower design” and contain cream balm with chamomile.
Taking all this into consideration, it is only natural that the logo features chamomile. It is drawn above the name of the brand. The word “Naturella” is given in a carefree, laid-back script inspired by handwriting.
The tender and elegant Naturella inscription is set in a title case of a custom cursive typeface, which is somewhat close to such commercial fonts as The Barethos Regular and Baby Garland Regular. The main thing about the lettering is its smooth lines, representing softness and caress.
As for the color palette of the Naturella badge, it was initially based on green and yellow shades, with some light and smooth gradients on the stylized flower. However today we can also see the version with the dark lettering and very light yellow emblem, set directly on a white background, without any green shades in it. Of course, the first thing about the logo palette is the “chamomile specialty”, but it also evokes a sense of happiness and comfort.
