The ECAC Hockey logo has been very consistent – we can hardly mention any truly notable modifications in its design over the last two decades, apart from the grayish trim seen on the current version. Also, you can mention a slight shift in the palette over the years.

The logo features the large lettering “ECAC” in a rather dark yet not dull shade of blue. The word “Hockey” comes below in slightly smaller letters. To the left, a puck in flight can be seen.

The conference was established in 1961. While originally it was affiliated with the Eastern College Athletic Conference, the affiliation was ended in 2004.

The bold italicized inscription from the primary ECAC Hockey badge is set in a heavy geometric serif font with clean square contours. The closest font to the one, used in this insignia is, probably, Square Slabserif 711 Pro Bold Italic, but with the characters slightly extended.

As for the color palette of the ECAC visual identity, it is composed of blue and red, with gray used for outlining and accents in the graphical emblem. It adds a touch of professionalism and confidence to the badge.
