Northern Colorado Bears Logo PNG

The University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado, is represented by 17 teams playing under the name of the Northern Colorado Bears.

Meaning and history

Over the last 15 years, the Northern Colorado Bears logo has evolved from a pretty cluttered design to a more minimalistic one.

2004

In 2004, the teams started using an emblem where you could see a bear stretching out his hand forward. Below, there was the lettering “Northern Colorado.”

2010

In 2010, only the bear’s head with the mouth open stayed on the logo.

2015 – Today

The mouth of the bear depicted on the 2015 logo is open not so wide, and you cannot see the fangs as clearly as on the previous version.
